 O mundo mágico de Dolce & Gabbana não vai parar de crescer tão cedo. Nem mais tarde. A dupla italiana tem vindo a mostrar coleções mais adultas e coesas ao longo das últimas estações. Há sempre ouros opulentos, pedrarias brilhantes e desenhos exóticos. Os bordados são artísticos e as rendas vitais como oxigénio. Os acessórios são moldados em pequenas carteiras de mão, sapatos esculturais, adornos de cabelo dignos da realeza e brincos celestialmente pesados.

 

Dolce & Gabbana's magic worls won't stop expanding anytime soon. Or later. The italian duo has been recoding their label throughout the last seasons into something more adult and put toghether. There are always a lot of opulent golds, bright stones and exotic prints. The embroideries are artistic and laces essential as oxygen. The accessories are tresours shaped  like little handbags, sculptural shoes, royal headpieces and heavely heavy earrings.

O último desfile não divergiu dessa sumptuosidade tão bem conseguida. Mosaicos binzantinos e azulejos venezianos, de templos religiosos sicilianos, preencheram os contornos costurados à semelhança das mulheres do sul da europa. Não havia linhas rectas e frias. Havia linhas curvas e doces. Havia carisma levado quase ao extremo da exuberância. Havia romances intensos e paixões sofridas. Sentimentos que afloram na pele e se transformam em jóias. Corações disparados, vermelhos, rendilhados de histórias.

The latest kept that sumptuosity. Byzantine and venitian mosaics from Sicilian religious temples filled contours sewn to South European women. There were no frigid straight lines. There were dolce curves. There was charisma taken close to the extreme of exhuberance. There were intense romances and hurting passions. Feeling turned to jewels on the surface of the skin. Hearts racing, red, embroidered with true stories.

 Cores das cortes barrocas, pêlos voluptuosos, gargantilhas mais que vistosas e luvas altas definiram silhuetas que esculpiram volumetrias de corpos ampulheta, sem se afastarem muito dos contornos dos corpos humanos.

Colours borrowed from the barroque courts, voluptuous furs, sparkling necklaces and tall gloves shaped silhouettes with the volumetries of hourglass bodies, without moving too far from the human contours.

 The oppulence of the inside balanced out by the sobriety of the shape resulted in a series ou party-perfect ensembles (get inspired for the upcoming new Year's Eve ;) ), as well as in several deconstruction options for less formal outfits.

DIY - Barroque Cashmere

As tendências de Outono já me contagiaram com a febre das aplicações (como já devem ter percebido =P). São tão bonitas! E o melhor? Podemos ser nós a dar-lhes o aspecto que quisermos... Com imaginação e algum jeito para manejar agulhas e linhas!

Ainda não foi desta que recriei aquela linda camisola da Miu Miu. Tudo a seu tempo. Ainda assim, hoje deixo-vos um sugestão para começarem a embelezar as vossas camisolinhas básicas! Estou muito entusiasmada por partilhar convosco o meu primeiro projecto DIY (do it yourself / faça você mesmo). Espero que gostem!

Inspiração/Inspiration

Fall trends have already gave me the fever of embelishments (as you might have noticed by now =P). They're so pretty! And the best part? We can make them look the way we want... with imagination and a bit of know-how around threads and needls!

I'm not recreating the Miu Miu sweater I've told you about right now. That's for another day. Still, I'm bringing you an idea for you to start embelishing your little knits! I'm very excited to share my first DIY (do it yourself) project with you. Hope you like it!

1. A Camisola Básica de Cachemira.

 - Linhas beringela e rosa.

  - Agulha.

  - 2 botões dourados.

  - Fita de cetim rosa.

  - Pérolas beringela de dois tamanhos.

  - Galão dourado.

  - Tesoura.

  - Violet and pink sewing threads.

  - Needle.

  - 2 golden buttons.

  - Pink satin ribbon.

  - Violet pearls in two sizes.

  - Golden ribbon.

  - Scisors.

3. Passo-a-Passo.

3. Step by Step.

Coser o galão dourado à volta da gola.

Sew the golden ribbon around the collar.

 

Coser as pérolas, em pequenos arcos, desde a costura do ombro esquerdo até ultrapassar a linha média do decote.

Add the pearls, in small arches, starting at the seam of the left shoulder and stopping a little after the midlle line of the cleavage.

Fazer dois laços de fita rosa.

Make two bows with the pink ribbon.

Pregar os laços à camisola. Preencher os espaços vazios com uma fileira de pérolas.

Stitch the bows to the sweater. Fill in the gaps with a row of pearls.

Pregar os botões dourados no centro dos laços.

Add the golden buttons to the centre of the bows.

4. Já está! Uma camisola nova!

Milan Fashion Week

Milão explodiu em opulência e sofisticação! Propostas irresistíveis e difíceis de largar com olhar invadiram as passereles pelas mãos geniais dos mestres italianos. Muitos pretos, únicos e distintos, deram uma força carregada aos visuais austeros e arrojados que iremos adorar no próximo Inverno! Dourados, bordados e brocados oscilaram entre a delicadeza extrema de uma feminilidade frágil e a exuberância de um barroco ostensivo e, por vezes, quase encantadoramente venenoso.

 Milan exploded in opulence ans sophistication! The irresistible, hard to stop looking at, proposals of the italian masters invaded the catwalks. A lot of unique shades of black loaded strength in the austere and bold looks we'll love next Fall! Gold, embroideries and brocades oscillated between the extreme delicacy of a fragile femininity and the exhuberance of an ostensive and sometimes poisonous barroque.
