 O mundo mágico de Dolce & Gabbana não vai parar de crescer tão cedo. Nem mais tarde. A dupla italiana tem vindo a mostrar coleções mais adultas e coesas ao longo das últimas estações. Há sempre ouros opulentos, pedrarias brilhantes e desenhos exóticos. Os bordados são artísticos e as rendas vitais como oxigénio. Os acessórios são moldados em pequenas carteiras de mão, sapatos esculturais, adornos de cabelo dignos da realeza e brincos celestialmente pesados.

 

Dolce & Gabbana's magic worls won't stop expanding anytime soon. Or later. The italian duo has been recoding their label throughout the last seasons into something more adult and put toghether. There are always a lot of opulent golds, bright stones and exotic prints. The embroideries are artistic and laces essential as oxygen. The accessories are tresours shaped  like little handbags, sculptural shoes, royal headpieces and heavely heavy earrings.

O último desfile não divergiu dessa sumptuosidade tão bem conseguida. Mosaicos binzantinos e azulejos venezianos, de templos religiosos sicilianos, preencheram os contornos costurados à semelhança das mulheres do sul da europa. Não havia linhas rectas e frias. Havia linhas curvas e doces. Havia carisma levado quase ao extremo da exuberância. Havia romances intensos e paixões sofridas. Sentimentos que afloram na pele e se transformam em jóias. Corações disparados, vermelhos, rendilhados de histórias.

The latest kept that sumptuosity. Byzantine and venitian mosaics from Sicilian religious temples filled contours sewn to South European women. There were no frigid straight lines. There were dolce curves. There was charisma taken close to the extreme of exhuberance. There were intense romances and hurting passions. Feeling turned to jewels on the surface of the skin. Hearts racing, red, embroidered with true stories.

De agora em diante (como quem diz até meados de março), vou falar-vos do seguinte:

- Mais coleções de pré-outono 13/14. Ainda nao consegui mostrar-vos todas a minhas favoritas e, portanto, vou falar sobre elas aos poucos ;)
- More pre-fall 13/14 collections. I still have a few more favorites to show you and I'll do it slowly ;)

- Vestidos de festa! Porquê agora? Porque a época dos prémios (de cinema e não só) já arrancou e a semana de Alta-Costura invade Paris a partir de 2ª-feira (podem aguardar por muitas imagens lindíssimas). Poderia haver melhores inspirações?
- Party dresses! Why now? Well, awards season has taken off at the Golden Globes and Haute Couture takes over Paris, once again, on Monday (yes, you can expect lots of reviews). Are there any better inspirations?

- E por falar em semanas de moda, não tarda e estão aí as propostas para o outono/inverno 13/14. Obviamente, vou trazer-vos umas quantas! E street style também!
- Speaking of fashion weeks, the designers' fall/winter 13/14 proposals are about to come out. And you can be sure I'll bring you a nice bunch! And I won't forget street style!

- Novidades invernosas à parte, a primavera "real" começa a invadir as prateleiras das lojas. Logo, podem contar com algumas dicas e sugestões de como trazer a passerelle para a rua e de como tirar partido das tendências para favorecer cada tipo de corpo (não sou super expert no assunto, mas vou dar o meu melhor!).
 - Wintery news aside, the "real" spring is blossoming in stores' racks. So, you can expect some tips and suggestions of how to bring the runway to the street and which trends look best on each body type (I'm not a pro, but I'll do my best!).

 Pregas de delicadeza desarmante e lagos de cetim azul deram forma a roupas de suavidade arejada e fluidez aguada.

Pleats of a desarming delicacy and blue lakes of satin were shaped into breezy and watery clothes.

 Também veio o sol. Veio e mergulhou no horizonte. E depois dele veio a lua. Veio e ergueu-se, prateada, em direcção à noite negra.

The sun came as well. He came and dove through the horizon. And then the moon came. She came and rose, silver and beaming, straight up to the dark night.

Emporio Armani

Há sempre qualquer coisa de alfaiataria em Armani. E uma pitada de descontracção em Emporio. Desta vez, o resultado da mistura foi este.

There's always something of tayloring about Armani. And there's something of ease about Emporio. This time, the outcome of their fusion was the following.

Etro

Tal como outras marcas italianas, a Etro foi além da Índia na hora de trazer inspirações do oriente.

Like other Italian labels, Etro went further than India to find oriental inspiration.

Foi ao Japão e voltou com kimonos muito trendy. Uns mais volumosos e amplos, outros mais esguios e elegantes.

They went to Japan and returned with trendy kimonos. Some more volumous and wide, others more slender and elegant.

 Os estampados de flores coloridas sobre fundo escuro também se fizeram notar. 

Prints with colorful flowers on a dark background were a strong presence as well.

O mesmo aconteceu com as calaças largas combinadas com blusas soltas.

The same happened with wide trousers and loose blouses.

Coordenados com sandálias de tiras metalizadas como todos os outros looks de passerele, os reservados à noite mostraram contornos de seda suave. Pautados por uma estrutura esvoaçante e cores deliciosas, acabaram por não resistir às lantejoulas. O resultado foi brilhante.

Paired with metallic strappy sandals like the others runway looks, the evening ones showed soft silky contours. Defined by a floaty structure and delicious colours, they ended up not resisting to sequins. The outcome was brilliant.
