Olivier Rousteing voltou a tirar silhuetas poderosas da manga. Troncos em "V de powersuit", cinturas enfaixadas e ancas esculpidas à maneira do oriente. Bordados ricos enobreciam mulheres guerreiras galáticas. Super estrelas do universo, desfilando uma atitude sobre-humana sobre pernas infinitamente sensuais.

Olivier Rousteing can't resist a powerful silhouette. Powersuit V-shaped torsos, wasp folden waists and hips sculpted by the oriental fashion. Rich embroideries gave a kind of royalty to the galactic warrior women. Superstar of the universe, they catwalked a super human confidence on top of infinitely sexy legs.

O chique sem esforço, de aspeto algo inacabado, das últimas coleções de Nina Ricci tem sido um bálsamo refrescante. Sabe bem ver ombros descobertos ou naturalmente suavizados enquanto nas passerelles explodem ângulos afiados e tamanhos superlativos. Looking slightly unfinished and effortlessly chic, Nina Ricci's latest collections have been a refreshing balm. It just feels good watching the shoulders naked or naturally softned while ohter catwalks are attacking with sharp angles and superlative sizes. It feels good seeing fluid silks, shinny satins, floating drapperies and tall gloves, the most feminine of all. Lightness, versus heaviers forces, balances the season and asks for heart shaped necklines and passionate red lips. It's the imperfect analogical emotion counterweighting the racional high definition of flawless silhouettes cut by geometrical scissors.

Ao mesmo tempo, saias lápis bem afiadas e casacos totalmente abotoados disfarçavam com decência a bad girl que se escondia no seu interior.

 Fishnet tights, cleavaged shoes, snaky silks and negligée cardigans contributed to make up the most languid and bohemian side of the collection.

At the same time, sharpened pencil skirts and buttoned jackets were a decent disguise to the bad girls underneath.

 Felipe Oliveira Batista mergulhou o seu processo criativo no mundo do hip hop. Absorveu as nuances fortes dessa cultura de rua e estilizou-as em formas minimalistas e apuradas. Para agitar uma sucessão de looks monocromáticos, foi introduzindo padrões que pareciam ter sido electrizados.

Felipe Oliveira Baptista dipped his creative process in the world of hip hop. Absorving all those street cultural features, he dissected and reasembled them into sharp and minimal shapes. In order to shake the row of monochromatic ensembles on the catwalk, he tossed some electrifying prints to the mixture.

The rain makes long for a new winter

Estes últimos dias invernosos já conseguiram pôr-me a pensar no que vou comprar no próximo Inverno... Bom, como não sou rica o bastante para exigir roupas antes das lojas as exibirem, contento-me a ver e a deixar-me inspirar pelas belezas que só poderei tocar em Setembro!

Este desfile de Nina Ricci está tão bonito, tão elegante e tão suave... Tão repleto de texturas luxuosas e sedas tentadoras... E, para além disso, mostra alguns detalhes que me agradam particularmente. Façam por reparar e anotar os seguintes pormenores (caso me esqueça de voltar a falar neles na devida altura ;) ), que tenho a certeza que não se vão arrepender de ter num cantinho da memória ou no fundo do bloco de notas:
- o chapéu de pêlo. Não é o acessório mais adorável de sempre?
- as luvas altas. Um básico da elegância intemporal.
- as carteiras sedosas cor-de-pêssego. Definitivamente, um must-have!
- a forma como as colas de pêlo assentam nos casacos. Pura perfeição!

Aproveitem a chuva para sonharem com as beldades do próximo inverno ;)


These last wintery days have made me start wishing for some new clothes for the cold season... Well, as I'm not rich enough to be demanding clothes before they hit the stores, I must content myself to watch and be inspired by the beauties I'll be able to touch in Septembre! 

This Nina Ricci show soooo beautiful, lady-like and soft... The textures are so lustful and the silks so tempting... And there are some details I particularly fancy. Make sure to notice and write down the following (just in case I forget to tell you all about at the appropriate time ;) ). You won't regret having in the back of head of note pad:
- the fur hat. Isn't it the most gorgeous thing ever?
- the tall gloves. A timeless basic of elegance.
- the silky peachy handbags. Those are a must-have!
- the way the fur collars are laid on the coats. Pure perfection!

Paris Fashion Week

Paris continuou a luminosidade escura das semanas de moda precedentes. O preto foi rei e a sobriedade rainha. Mas Paris será sempre Paris... Se assistimos, por um lado, a um regresso de um chique bem cortado e algo austero, caímos, por outro, numa vertigem alucinante de formas e conjugações inesperadas. A feminilidade também não foi esquecida. Foi, muito pelo contrário, mimada com sedas brilhantes, rosas pastel, pêlos macios, arrebatamentos de vermelho e sapatos de bailarina. Deixe-se encantar!

Paris followed the darkness of the previous fashion weeks. Black was king and sobriety queen. But Paris will always be Paris... If, on the one hand, we watch the return of a well tailored and austere chic, on the other hand we fall in an allucinating vertigo of unexpected shapes and styling. Femininity wasn't forgotten either: it was cherished and spoilled with shinny silks, pastel pinks, soft furs, outbursts of red and ballerina shoes. Feel the charm!
