Dreams Out of my Closet - Spring Time Fantasy

England's famous Ascot races inpired this outfit.

A primavera já vai longa. É quase verão, até. E a mim... apeteceu-me celebrar a luz intensa e a subida das temperaturas com um outfit bem primaveril, inspirado nas corridas de Ascot que tão bem ocupam os ingleses nesta altura do ano. 

As corridas de Ascot são sinónimo de visuais imaculados conjugados com os chapéus mais extravagantes que a imaginação possa conceber. Eu não resisti a interpretar o tema à minha maneira! Escolhi uma paleta de cores luminosas, claras, mas nem por isso muito pastel. Deixei que as flores me subissem à cabeça que os brilhos e laços de seda me acompanhassem em mais um devaneio estilístico.

Spring is almost turning to summer and I felt like celebrating the bright sun shine and the warmer temperatures with a very spring-ish outfit, inspired by the event that's keeping the british busy these days: Ascot races.

Ascot races mean flawless ensembles topped with the most exquisite hats imagination can invent. I just couldn't help creating my version of an Ascot outfit! I've picked a bunch of bright, light and not too pastel shades of yellow and pink. Then I put my hat on, filled it with roses and let sparkles and silk bows be my company in another dream out of my closet.

O excesso de dias cinzentos começa a deixar-me louca por flores! Apetece-me vê-las nos jardins, na rua, dentro de casa... E no meu closet! 

As flores são uma das grandes tendências para esta primavera/verão e não há como lhes escapar. Em estampados vibrantes ou de inspiração oriental, aplicações encantadoras, acessórios fascinantes, rendas delicadas ou bordados elaborados, elas estão ao virar da esquina. As combinações possíveis são mais que muitas e os excessos são bem-vindos! 

A flor perfeita para cada uma existe, só está à espera que a imaginação a deixe desabrochar!

All this greyness in the air is making me crave for flowers! I want to see them in gardens, on the streets, at home... And, of course, in my closet!

Flowers are a must have this spring and there's no way you can escape them. Vibrant or oriental prints, charming embellishments. astonishing accessories, delicate laces ou intrincate embroideries are some of the ways they might just pop before your eyes. The arrengement possibilites are more than many and all excesses are welcome!

There is a perfect flower for everyone waiting their imagination allows it to blossom.

Adorei Milão! Há qualquer coisa nos designers italianos que não se aprende na escola. É qualquer coisa deles, só deles. E essa qualquer coisa tem tudo a ver com elegância. Mais clássicos ou arrojados, mais opulentos ou minimalistas, representam o seu tempo e transcendem-no. A arte da sedução constante é inata e infalível. Esta temporada de desfiles, apesar de um pouco menos arriscada, não foi excepção.  Teve, sim, momentos excepcionais, principalmente com Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Emporio Armani e Giorgio Armani.

Sim, já viajei até ao espaço sideral! E voltei à Terra insaciada. Paris, quero ainda mais!

I loved Milan! There's something about Italian designers you can't learn at school. It's something of their own. And that thing is all about elegance. More classic or daring, more extravagant or minimalistic, they represent their time and transcend it. The art of seduction is a never failing constant. Though it was less risk taking, this season was no exception. Indeed, there were a few exceptional moments, mainly with Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Emporio Armani e Giorgio Armani.

Oh yes, I've been to heaven already! And came down to Earth wanting more. Paris, I'm watching you!

Até ao momento, esta foi a minha colecção favorita da LFW. Digámos que já se encaixa no que queria dizer ontem com "Londres, por favor, encanta-me". Duro Olowu conseguiu. De facto, estou maravilhada! 

Esta é uma daquelas colecções em que a moda e as artes visuais dão as mãos e tecem obras soberbas. As cores vibram, os estampados espantam e as formas dançam. Há flores imperiais e aves do paraíso. Elegancia excêntrica. Vá lá, Londres, quero mais disto!

Favorite LFW show so far. Let's say it quite fulfills my wish of yesterday "London, please, be dashing". Duro Olowu was so dashing I'm actually delighted!

This is one of those collections where fashion and visual arts hold hands to weave superb things. The colours vibrate, the prints dazzle and the shapes dance. There are imperial flowers and paradise birds.

Eccentric elegance. Come on, London, I want more of this!
