Gostei muito de Paris. Mas esperava mais sonho. De uma forma geral, os designers voltaram-se para si, tentando definir a sua essência e o que é essencial agora. Parece que precisaram de descansar das últimas opulências, tentando ajustar-se mais à crise enfadonha que assombra a economia mundial. Alguns, não só em Paris, estiveram perigosamente perto dessa palavra de cor cinzenta acastanhada indefinida. Visuais enfadonhos, aborredidos pairaram como uma ameaça. Felizmente, muitos outros conseguiram brilhar. Uns pelo minimalismo irrepreensível. Outros pelas cores e padrões vibrantes ou texturas excitantes. E, os últimos e meus prediletos, por um romantismo mais sonhador, austero ou decadente, vestido de veludos, sedas, transparências e bordados.
Qualquer dia escrevo qualquer coisa sobre possíveis tendências e sobre os looks que considero mais inspiradores! Até lá, há toda uma primavera para fazer desabrochar ;)
I loved Paris, though I was hoping it would be more dreamy. Most designers turned to themselves, searching for their essence and for what's essential right now. It seemed they needed a break from the last couple of seasons extravaganza, trying a better adjustment to the boring crisis hunting worldwide economies. Some of them, not only in Paris, were dangerously close to that brown-grey blurred word. Boring, dull outfits threatned taking over the catwalks. Fortunatly, others managed to shine. Some with a flawless minimalism. Others with vibrant colours and patterns or exciting textures. And, at last but definitely not the least, my favorite ones pulled off a dreamy romantism, that went from austere to decadent, dressed in velvets, silks, sheer fabrics and embroideries.
One of these days I'll write a feww words on possible trends and the looks that inspired me the most! Till then, there's a spring blossoming outside ;)
