Nova Iorque está de volta à brancura calma da neve... Bom, está menos inundada pelas gentes da moda, pelo menos. Não me parece que calma tenha sido uma boa palavra para descrever a cidade que nunca dorme.
A semana da moda de Londres acabou de começar, mas, antes de me concentrar nisso, tenho um pequeno presentinho para vocês!
Street style!
Os desfiles nova iorquinos indicaram uma direcção que pode muito bem levar-nos a Paris (direcção essa que Raf Simons tomou mal chegou à Dior. Talvez até tenha sido ele quem inspirou os arrojados nova iorquinos). Roupas verdadeiramente usáveis na
passerelle. Nem parece verdade! É claro que se viu (e ainda bem!) algum dramatismo. Não se fazem semanas da moda sem essa magia do exagero que nos enche os olhos e preenche os sonhos... E eu, como sempre, já estou a divagar... =P
Como estava a dizer, os designers de Nova Iorque deram-nos imensas opções de styling para o próximo inverno. As sobreposições de texturas compensaram a neutralidade do colorido e alguns pormenores fabulosos equilibraram a simplicidade da maioria das silhuetas. Foi uma muito boa direcção a seguir. Contudo, estou realmente sedenta de pontos de vista mais excêntricos. Com sorte, as próximas capitais da moda tratarão de me fazer cair o queixo. Quero sentir que estou dentro de um sonho! Por favor, Londres, encanta-me.

New York is quiet in the snow again... Well, a little less flooded by fashion people at least, as quiet is not the best word to define the city that never sleeps.
London Fashion Week has just started, but before moving there I have a little extra something for you! Oh yeah, some street style!
The latest New York shows pointed a way that may reach Paris (Raf Simons has been doing it since he set foot at Dior. Maybe it was him who inspired the feisty New Yorkers). Real wearable clothes on the runways. Of course there was a little (and welcome!) drama. No fashion week can exist without that magic exageration that fills our pupils and fulfills our dreams. And I'm already falling of the waggon (as I usually do =P ), so let me get to the point.
As I was saying, New York designers gave us tons of cool styling suggestions for next fall. Lots of layers made up for the neutral coloring and awsome details balanced the simplicity of most silhouettes. It was a good way to go. However, I'm actually craving for some more eccentric points of view. Hopefully the next fashion capitals will make my jaw drop to floor. I need to feel overwhelmed! So, please London, be dashing.
