Blow me Up!

Aqui está o resultado do meu primeiro trabalho tridimensional de Design de Moda. Partindo da exploração temática e visual do filme Blow Up, de Michelangelo Antonioni, quis fazer algo descontraído e elegante. Algo provocante, rejubilante, contratante. Algo suave, feminino, transparente. Quis olhar para os laços e enlaçar-me neles. Deslizar ao ritmo frenético das roturas, dos laços rompidos que explodem em mil e uma aventuras. Quis viver o verter da moda das maisons de Haute Couture para as ruas coloridas e aguerridas. Quis ver a mulher libertar-se e a tornar-se  musa de artistas e de si, sobretudo de si, enquanto ondula em direcção a descobertas maravilhosas.

This is my first 3D Fashion Design project. Picking thematical and visual references from Antonioni's film, Blow Up, I tried to do something easy and elegant. Something provocative, joyful, contrasting. Something, soft, feminine, transparent. I wanted to look at the bows and the thousand adventures they blow up into. I wanted to watch women setting free from their tight clothes and becoming muses, especially of their own, while following the flow that leads to wonderful discoveries.
