O mais recente editorial da Vogue Tawain, Crazy Blue, com a modelo sul-coreana Sung Hee Kim, traz-nos, como o título sugere, a vida com cosméticos de tom azul. Este editorial, com quatro fotografias, mostra-nos, então, quatro diferentes formas de usar o azul nos nossos olhos.



To celebrate the arrival of summer, we are surrounded with editorials, they all rely on the presence of numerous intense colors - in fact, what would be the summer without the vibrant, vivid... and refreshing colors?

The latest editorial in Vogue Tawain, Crazy Blue, with the South Korean model Sung Hee Kim, brings us, as the title suggests, life with cosmetics with blue tones. This editorial with four photographs shows us, then, four different ways to use blue in our eyes.

 E, entre plumagens sem peso e brilhos de pérola, algures naquele lugar estranho onde as traduções se perdem, debrochava nas mulheres da passerelle uma alma de pássaro... De pássaro livre e sem rumo, doce e atormentado. Pássaros da lua, que ocultam a face obscura com brilhos de prata.

And finally the bird women were invading the catwalk, lost in tranlation, dressed in pearled watery mirrors and weightless feathers... They had the sweet troubled souls of free errant birds. Birds from the moon, always shading theis darkest side with silvery shimmers.

O ballet é, foi e sempre será uma das minhas maiores inspirações. 

Tem uma graciosidade e uma leveza bem maiores do que as palavras que consigo encontrar para o descrever.

Experimentei dançá-lo, mas não tive muito sucesso. Agora, trago-o para a Moda sempre que o encontro, seja por mero acaso, ou por obra do desejo de o tornar um pouco mais meu.

Ballet is, was and always will be one of my greatest inspirations.
There's a grace and a lightness in it that go far beyond the words I can find to describe it.
I tried dancing it, but I wasn't so good. Now I bring to Fashion anytime I find it, whether it's a fortunate random meeting, or the strength of a desire of having it closer to my heart.

Gosto de deixar o olhar perder-se ao ritmo das pontas que flutuam sobre notas de delicadeza...
E de sentir os sentidos vaguear por rodopios, piruetas e movimentos de pássaros esguios.

I fancy letting my eyes lose their way in the rythm of floating dancing shoes... And feeling my senses wander through swirls, pirouettes and sleek moves of slender birds.

Às vezes nem é preciso pensar em bailados clássicos para se encontrarem bons exemplos da essência do ballet. Basta olhar em volta.

Sometimes it's not even necessary thinking of classic performances to come up perfect examples of the essence of ballet. All it takes is looking around.

E, olhando assim como quem não procura e acaba por ver, lá se descobrem, em gestos suaves e posturas com uma fragilidade tão serena que se torna forte, esses lampejos bailarinos de elegância natural.

And, looking around as if we don't want to notice a thing that ends up crossing our distracted glance, we finally meet those mild gestures - and postures of a fragility so serene that turns to strength - that carry the natural elegance of a ballerina.
