Estou mais do que atrasada nos posts da Paris Fashion Week, eu sei! Mas, antes de retomar, vou só falar-vos um pouco da minha passagem pela ModaLisboa Trust!
I'm so late with my Paris Fashion Week reports! But, for now, I'll tell you a bit about my days at Lisboa Fashion Week.
Nos dias 9 e 10 Março tive o prazer de assistir às propostas de alguns criadores portugueses para o Outono/Inverno 2013/14, passear em Lisboa, rever gente querida e lambuzar-me com os meus gelados favoritos!
Last weekend (9-10th March) I had the pleasure to watch some portuguese fashion designers' collections for Fall/Winter 13/14, enjoy Lisbon, meet dear people and indulge on my favorite icecreams!

E a primeira coisa a fazer num dia de desfiles é pensar no outfit! Faz parte da diversão! O clima estava temperamental e previam-se muitas filas e horas em pé... E eu joguei pelo seguro. Até mais do que queria.
The outift is always the first thing to think about when we are spending a day watching fashion shows. It's part of the fun! The weather was moody and the forecasts predicted lots of queues and standing hours... And I played safe. A bit safer than I wanted, though.

Um blazer de veludo preto de inspiração masculina com um toque delicioso.
A maculine black velvet blazer with a delicious texture.
Calças estreitas, uma blusa de organza e botins pretos para desenhar uma silhueta longilínea.
Narrow trousers, an organza shirt and ankle boots. All black to give the illusion of a taller figure.
Uma carteira grande.... Para o que desse e viesse!
A big tote bag... Ready to everything!
Alguns toques de brilho para suavizar. Um lenço de seda esvoaçante, o "corta-vento" mais perfeito de sempre! Saltos de um dourado pálido. Um colar de inspiração barroca tornado delicado pelas tonalidades rosa pastel.
Some shine to finish. A floating pink silk scarf, my best ally against chilling winds! Pale gold heels. A barroque inspired necklace, softned by pastel pink sparkling stones.

O primeiro desfile do dia foi o nosso favorito. Luís Buchinho inaugurou o segundo dia da ModaLisboa com a Revolução de Abril nas arcadas poente do Terreiro do Paço. Porque a revolução nasce e vive na rua.
The first show was our favorite of the day. Luís Buchinho opened Lisbon Fashion Week day 2 with a collection inspired by April 74 Revolution outside the runway. Because revolutions begin and live on the streets.

Tudo foi forte, poderoso. Da música aos coordenados desfilados.
Esteve lá o vermelho dos cravos e do sangue que não foi derramado.
Esteve o preto da noite, dos segredos. E o burgundy da intensidade.
Também lá esteve o branco, de um amanhecer esperançoso.
Strength and power were all over the place. From the soundtracks to the showcased outfits.
There was a lot of red. Bright red. From the carnations and the blood noboby spilled.
There was the black that belonged to the night and the secrets. An intense burgundy was there as well.
At last but not the least, white came in bringing the hope of a new dawn.

Adorei as silhuetas longilíneas e o equilíbrio ente fluido e estruturado conseguido por cortes de mestre e materiais perfeitos. Encantei-me com a forma como o vento daquela manhã lisboeta moldava as roupas aos corpos das modelos. Deslumbrei-me com a atitude das botas pela coxa e das mangas metidas dentro de luvas que ameaçavam trepar até ao ombro.
Um desfile incrível. Para recordar sempre.
I loved the long, tall silhouettes and the balance between fluid jerseys and other structured, thicker fabrics. The way the wind sculpted the clothes against the models bodies that morning was fascinating. And the attitude in the thigh high boots and gloves running over sleeves almost up to the elbow was dashing.
An icredible show. Never to forget.
